Marketing Inspiration – Caterite 2020

We’re lucky to have clients who alway push themselves in terms of the content they look to create, and in turn, push us to meet their aims. The team at Caterite is a prime example of such visionary marketers.

The first video we created for Caterite post lockdown was for the launch of their new website. Caterite had seized the chance to pivot their services to start providing to private individuals, as well as catering to hospitality services. You or I could order our super fresh groceries online and have them packed right into the boot of our car at Caterite HQ.

They realised they needed a website that would not just accommodate the new service, but push the envelope of what online ordering can look like. Just try out the search function to see just how advanced the website is!

Such a website needed to be launched with a bang, so we filmed many (MANY!) hands to create this promo video for them:

Hot off the heels of this video was another fun project, and one which, we admit, had us scratching our heads as to how we would go about capturing it…

Hannah @ Caterite was buzzing as she described the idea, and we couldn’t help but share her excitement. Before I share any details, this is the result…

Hannah and Lorcan, Group MD at Caterite, wanted a video which would give customers a taste of the future, and show their forward looking approach to business. So they decided: drone!

The obstacles were plenty: the lockdown, finding the right fixture for the drone, and the technical aspects of just how to describe the ‘journey’ in video form. Then there’s actually filming a drone in flight…

Luckily we could rely on the ingenuity and flying skills of Simon @ Skylark Aerial Photography. We were able to ‘deliver’ truffles from Caterite to Michelin star restaurant Cottage in the Woods. Some of these shots are our absolute favourites of the year!
